Play with Corn Husks

Corn husks have a texture unlike anything else.  Toddlers find the stringiness intriguing, the ridges interesting, and the ease of tearing exciting.  Our toddler loves to help tear the husks right off the ears of corn and once we run out of ears to shuck he dives into exploring the entire pile.  I recommend doing this activity outside unless you are ready for a serious mess indoors as the corn silk gets everywhere.
